Who we are
Tech Maven (“Maven”, “we”, “us”) is a venture studio based at 155 N Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606, United States. This policy explains what we do with personal information collected through techmaven.us.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact or intake form, or email us, we receive what you choose to send — typically your name, email address, company name, and the details you write about your venture. Please don’t send sensitive personal information (health, financial account, or government ID numbers) through these forms.
Information collected automatically
Our host and content delivery network keep standard server logs: IP address, browser user agent, the pages requested, referring page, and timestamps. We use these to keep the site running, secure, and reasonably fast.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives the request (including your IP address) when a page loads.
How we use information
- To reply to you and to evaluate a possible partnership.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the website.
- To keep records of our discussions and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run things on our behalf — website hosting and content delivery, email, and form delivery — and only as needed to provide that service.
- Professional advisers (for example counsel or accountants) where relevant to a prospective or active partnership.

How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected and for a reasonable period afterwards for business and legal records. Server logs are kept for a short period on a rolling basis. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we restrict access to submissions to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Email info@techmaven.us and we will, subject to applicable law, give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — tell us what you need and we will honor what the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
This site is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We operate from the United States, and information you send us is processed and stored there. By using the site or contacting us, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States, which may have different data protection rules than your own country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
